380 – I looked at this today and said – wow- and then did a double wow as I prepped page 412. That’s a lot of pages and I still have a long ways to go. I do get frustrated though about the time thing. I wish I could draw this all day long, then I would update 5 times a week. That would be pretty cool, yet the only way that is going to happen, is if we sell more books:)

I am also doing my phoenix comic con prep this week and next. I cannot believe my favorite show of the year is 3 weeks away.

Thank you also for the support during my rough health patch these last few weeks. It has been a rather rough ride, one that I have not fully recovered, but I am close. Thank you, all your kind comments and suggestions have been appreciated. I should be back in full swing on commenting soon.

Best day so far health wise- I have to go back tomorrow- I am not thrilled about that but I am trying to get my health back in gear. Jaw is still tender and sore, but it is healing. Nothing like trauma to the jaw.

The only issue is the last 3 weeks my work load is now backed up right now. I tried to keep up but it’s hard to work when you hurt:)

Yet I have about 28 pages that are uploading in the next few days. This is good.

Ok – I am trying to get back into my groove- It’s amazing how much one’s health can slow things down. I had oral surgery a few weeks ago and have been having problems ever since. It’s been rough and has really destroyed my work ethic. last night was the worst. I went back today and they found a few more things that had been missed (shoddy work by another dentist- he left cement in my mouth and it had inflamed my gums which sent some intense pain into my already sore jaw and temple). Well I am doing better. I am not as tender as I was this morning, which is good. Now to start making up all the work I have been neglecting these last few weeks. I honestly dont wish this on anyone. Anyways – This should not effect the bean much- I hope –

The goal though is to keep creating and to keep pushing forward.

First off- i turned 41 on saturday. Kinda surreal. My sweetheart and the kids made the day really nice and yes I even took a day off.

I still am overloaded with work- which is a good thing- so I will make this brief. We are coming up to the end of chapter 10 and will be moving into chapter 11 in the next few weeks. Thanks again for all the support.

It’s really late- in fact in about 10 minutes this is going up anyways.There is a lot of cool stuff I am working on right now. I am very pleased with the current bean pages as well as this new project I am involved in.

You might notice typos and spelling errors. Sorry about those. The typos will be fixed when we put all the pages together for the print version of the book.

It’s nice to get the drive back. I have felt that it has been a rough couple of months, yet eccc has really put me back on track. It feels nice. Refocused on Bean and almost all the books have been sent out for the kickstarter project. If you are interested i wrote a huge article on how to have a successful kickstarter project. You can find the read here.

This week I am also working on several commissions and hooking up my con schedule for may and june. I have about 6 weeks off and I am looking forward to the rest, so is my family.

Bean updates are going strong- I just scanned another 20 pages. I like being ahead, though I still have a lot of cleanup to do. Time moves quickly and it is easy to fall behind. Well back to work my friends- feel free to comment.

Oh and if you have the books, please leave a review at the store and a “like” we could use the love.

I am heading home from one of the most incredible shows on the west coast. I had a blast and let me tell you the adventure was worth it. I would hope if you are ever up in seattle you need to check out the show, which happens in march.

I’ll do a full write up later, but i wanted to say this is how a show should be run.

The kickstarter panel was a blast. Jason Brubaker of remind did a great job and I am looking forward to do a few more panels with him in the future. It was standing room only, and they only let half the line in. There was no room in the room. I would think they would need to give us a bigger room next time if we were to do that.

well here’s to a safe flight back.
