Book 4 Bean update- working hard on book 4, in fact monday we start updating book 4 here. So jazzed about that.

It’s out. I am working a special book that is dedicated to imagination and creativity.  It’s a full-color hard cover book and I am funding it through kickstarter. I am running a very limited run on this, because I want it to be special. There are some fantastic rewards and we are gonna have a lot of fun with this. Bean updates

Working on prepping the next 38 pages of the Bean. It’s looking good. Many times I talk about the need to create a buffer. This is how I do it. Hopefully in a week or so I will have these pages uploaded which is 19 weeks of updates. Makes it easy, especially as I start my con season in about two weeks. It keeps the comic going even when I am not around.

Plus I am working on a few videos about how I tackle things. This is prepping me for my next kickstarter project which I should have in working order in March. So if you want to see me penciling a page or inking a page just click on a video. Also if you have a question about how i do something feel free to ask, I am pretty open about my procedures.

The Art Book-

This is the biggest project I am involved with at the moment. Over the years, I have had many people suggest that I put together an artbook of all my prints. So, I finally have enough prints to do it. I will though have to kickstart it because I do not have the funding (raising 5 kids, takes up a lot of my income).

This artbook will be very special though. It will only have landscaped art (I will do a horizontal one next year) and will have specialized sketch pages. I will post some of these as well. The higher the funding goes the nicer the book will be. I will have all the details about mid march. I’ll keep you posted.

Thanks again for all the support you have given me over the years. It drives me to keep upping my artistic game and producing a fun fantasy story.

dont worry bean 4 is still very strong in production. it should come out at the end of the year. The art book is for my prints- most everything is drawn there. It’s gonna be groovy

Bean webcomic update-

ok the next 36 pages have been scanned. It looks good and I am starting laying out the text this week. Really pleased with how the story is evolving and changing.

Also if you haven’t noticed I have added a lot of new prints and artwork not related to the bean. I draw these as my release and it allows me to tell a story in one shot. So just scroll down on the home page and come on an adventure with me. These pieces I will be updating Tues, Wed, and Fri.

I am also looking at maybe setting up a day that will be nothing but sketches. – Might be wed.  The goal is that there will always be something happening during the week. Feel free to comment, share and enjoy. I love the interaction.

If you hadn’t noticed I am in the process of a little redecorating. I am doing this because, one, I wanted to increase the speed of the site’s upload time and, two, I wanted to give people a reason to come back on non-comic update days.  As many of you know I also do art prints, commissions and all sorts of other projects.

So during the week, mon through fri, and occasionally  sat there will always be an update here. The comic updates mon and thursdays… so tuesday, wed and friday will be art days. You will find those pieces in my blog on the main page just below the comic. All you have to do is scroll down.

I want you to enjoy my other worlds I play in. The goal is to make this place fun and honestly I just enjoy the company. So pull up a chair, surf for a bit and find an adventure, either with the bean or just my imagination.
