Today is the 500th update of the BEAN. Can you believe it- 500 pages. I am really excited about it- It’s a celebration moment and a milestone. Today is the 500th update of the BEAN. Can you believe it- 500 pages. I am really excited about it- It’s a celebration moment and a milestone.

Also, if you have not noticed, I have a complete who’s who’s guide for the comic here http://www.beanleafpress.com/?comic=the-people-of-the-broken-moon-cast-page . Just look on the side and you will see the faces of who’s in today’s update and story arc. This is important to me, especially when dealing with an epic webcomic, where the story lines are long and drawn out. Hover over the character thumbnails and you will get some special background detail on that person. Every page has been indexed as well to include location, character and chapter.

Plus I have a new print I will be showcasing later in the day.

New update today – as well as a bunch of other cool changes to the site. First off I have a complete who’s who’s guide for the comic here http://www.beanleafpress.com/?comic=the-people-of-the-broken-moon-cast-page . Also if you notice on the side there are faces of who’s in todays update. You can see them through the whole comic now. Hover over and you will get some background detail on that person. Also there are location spots and chapter spots.

Last but not least is the chapter section. Took a bit to index the entire comic but now it’s broken into chapters. This should make it a little easier to find your place or find an area to start.

Trying to make things a little better here. Enjoy the adventure and keep creating.

Good Morning (unless you are reading this in the evening than good evening)

So as you can see there have been a few changes to the site. I would say you can expect a few more as well. I just upgraded everything and now I am working on refining, cleaning and finishing things off. One of the cool new features is that I am breaking the comic into it’s proper chapters. I am thinking of creating sub-chapters for each page so you could actually go to the correct page, but I that is a lot of work and I don’t have the time at the moment. In the next few weeks though I will have gone through all 500 + pages.

Big events are that the art book went to press last week. I will do a proof check on the 10th. I am sooooo excited and hopefully i will be able to start all the custom art in the next few weeks.

fernandmagmaAnother big change is that i am going to be posting more color artwork in the blog, since most just read the comic from the link I think you miss all the new artwork. It’s all about what else is going on in the world of trav. Just follow the link here or click on the image to see all the fun.

Well back to work my fellow adventures. I hope over the next few weeks you will get a chance to enjoy the changes and all the new artwork, new chapter system and even some of the other surprises I have in store.

Well let’s have some fun as we wait for the next update- If Bean were to be a movie, who would you cast. Actors can be living or dead…. sort of an ideal cast and realistic cast….

Bean…. This is a hard one- I would want bean to be both young and yet he has to be a strong actor, there is a lot of weight on this lads shoulder. My fear is the actor will not have the chops to pull it off… he must look about 13, but could be between 13 and 17
