100 pages of the beginning colored today. That is a major accomplishment at the moment. I am really happy about how it’s coming out. It looks like a real comic now.  Getting ready for a couple of shows and some other cool cool projects that i can’t talk about just yet… Also working on more bean pages.

Good morning- working hard on getting everything color- I wish it could be quicker, but I am only one guy and so I apologize for having only two updates a week- one old – one new. I know it makes for the story seem to take forever.

I will keep moving forward- promise- and once I get caught up on the old files I will be able to push the story faster. Just being one guy though makes it tough.

Yesterday we launched our survey’s for everyone who backed my story Tanner Jones and the Quest for the Monkey Stone. I am really excited about this part of the project. It means that I will be able to launch book 4 of bean soon… very soon. (jan)

Good Morning – what an incredible day- I am glad to be home and I am glad to be back behind my table working on the bean and several other projects I am involved in.

I hope you are enjoying the color updates. It has been nice, seeing how this project is coming about. I am grateful for the incredible support that has been given to us to make this comic a reality.

I am currently working on my review of ape and a few other articles. It was a fun show with some sadness attached to it.  That’s about all I will say at the moment.

I get a lot of questions on why I do not update more of the story quicker.  Well I am trying. This project is not an easy project, especially one that I share for free. Plus the only way at the moment to gain momentum for the book and story to grow is to color it. It needs to be color so I am working diligently on coloring the original books as well. This means I am updating 3 times a weeks. 2 color pages and one b/w.

I want you to know I am very committed to sharing this story with you. I still though have to cover expenses and keep the kids fed. One of the ways you can support this project is through patreon. A $1 pledge per color update (which can be capped at any time) is all that is being asked. As more funds come in, I am able to devote more time to posting more pages of the comic. Which would mean more b/w updates.

Another way is picking up the hardcopies for your self.

I am very thankful and grateful for all the support in making this adventure a reality. Your support over the years has been incredible and bean would not be here, if was not for that.

So that is why I can only update one b/w page per week and why I am coloring 2 pages a week. It’s not that I am not paying attention to the story, I am just trying to figure out the future of my story and where it is going to end up.

As I sit here and start my day. A day with a fun update I realized that I need to make a few changes on the site to make things a little more exciting for people and show people what is happening. Not many people and big fans of the story realize that the story is being colored and shared in color. So I am looking at ways to help people find the current color pages, so they can enjoy the tale the way it was meant to be.

I’ll figure something out soon, I promise.

I am also working on my review of the Long Beach Comic Con today and a few other pretty cool projects, that I just cannot share at the moment. I am also gearing up for APE.

This adventure of coloring the bean, has been incredible for me. It has been inspiring to finally see the story how I envisioned it. I am in awe how time is created and I feel my hands guided. I give gratitude to god for that, because with all that is happening and how much is being produced at the moment, there is no way that one person could do this. I am very very humbled by the opportunity I have to create and work, and get to know some incredible people. Also a big thanks to darne who flats each page. She makes the work so much easier and this adventure would not be happening without her.
