Good morning – if you haven’t noticed yet- there have been some major changes here at Bean Leaf Press. Changes for the good. It has been a wild ride, all due to a hacker. Yet it has resulted in a more secure site with all my blogs, art pieces, and comics in one spot.

Also if you scroll down- you will always be able to find the current spot in the comic. Yes I had to make changes and it might take a little bit to get used to, but it needed to happen.

I hope you take a moment and look around. We have made major changes in the comic section and the home page will always have whats new and the shows I will be at. The key is to make it fun, make the site appealing and make it worth visiting often.

Good morning my adventurers- I am sorry I have been quiet these last 2 weeks- there has been a lot going on. Some big news for the bean and also production notes for the artbook as well.

First Bean- I’ve gone completely digital for the bean. Pencils, inks everything. Best thing I ever did and these pages wont post for a few months the difference is incredible. I like how clean it is and for the most part you wont be able to tell the difference. It’s giving me more freedom and time to get things done on the story and I can feel the energy building.

the artbook – I am almost done with all the pencil work as well and then onto the spot inks- the deadline for the book to go to press is the 3rd week in june.  I will keep everyone posted.

Daily sketching. So the Cintiq is something new for me. It’s a wild trip and so each night as I wind down I sketch a bit. I am pretty jazzed with how They are coming out and I will start posting them in order. I will be posting those pieces in the blog below for people to enjoy-

Also wanna talk comics, shop whatever, I am up for it.

Good morning- my adventurers.

Back to the world of the Bean, Art and other adventures now that my kickstarter is over. What an incredible experience and to all those that were part of it. Thank you.

I am also happy to see people are reading the bean. There are times that no one says anything here, like it’s an afternoon in a library, but then put a few spelling errors in the page and the board lights up. I do appreciate everyone catching my errors though. I am dyslexic and i think the next few pages might have a little issue here and there, but I will let you find them.

Now if you feel inclined to talk about the story, favorite characters – etc… please do. I would love to go more into who they are and the creation process. I just dont know always what to talk about.

Well keep creating, keep adventuring and keep those eagle eyes out- i apprecaite it.
