The kickstarter rewards are going out now. In fact I bet that many of you have now received book 4 already and are devouring it as we speak. A lot of good things are going on here. I have the first two chapters colored. I am looking at kickstarting  the books in color this fall. Something to get it going. I am looking at both a hard cover and a soft cover version. Each colored book will be 90+ pages. I am also ecxcited to see the story going forward in color.

The color is really allowing me to set up some stronger story telling. Especially in determining time and feeling of the world. I must say I love how it is coming out.

More art to come. Looking forward to seeing this story go forward.

This week is Emerald City Comic Con- I will be there doing a kickstarter panel at this show. If you are in the area stop on by, it’s going to be an awesome week.

Also I have a tumblr account- just another outlet for my creativity. I am also changing my artwork section again- I am not pleased with a few things and I am looking at improving things.

We learn a little more of our mysterious new elf. I would also recommend going back and reading the first few 100 pages- a little bit more of the puzzle is completed.

Also I have had the opportunity to go and play a bit with watercolors. It has been 14 years. I am using a watercolor brush/pen. It has been fantastic. I am creating pieces for my next show. limited and one of a kind.

wondercon is done, I will post an update in a bit, though I saw a lot of wonderful people and really enjoyed the good experiences. Also retired an image and I will be pulling it from the store.

Plus if your into the bean right now, I guess that is why you are here. Now is the time to go back and reread- especially if you have the books. Things are starting to be revealed in better clarity that were told to a young dishwasher not to long ago.

Also take a moment and listen in on a podcast i was privileged to be a part of about making comics. It’s a 2 part podcast with Jeremy Barlow and Jason Brubaker  (who I only saw once at wondercon). Also the story is getting good here at the bean. So many new tidbits are being revealed, yet not are all just thrown out there. I am really excited about some of the new faces that will pop up, faces that we have merely alluded to in the past in prior pages.
