The Scavenger (11×14) ink on vellum.

I figured I needed to draw some robots again and may a scavenger looking for a spare part or two. I really enjoyed creating this piece and coming up with it’s design. (Here’s to many more)

Traditional inks on vellum. Plan to work on these a few at a time. Plus give people some original artwork to help support the bean and keep the art flowing. Looking forward to coloring this in a bit.

The theme of the book is dames and monsters. I attacked it in my own style. Especially since I am not a cheesecake artist, so I tackled it with a little more story telling flare.

I hope it gets put in. So I am sending it off and we will see what happens.

Also Ben is really under the weather. We talked today and the color update might be a little late. I am sorry about that, but ben’s health is pretty important to me over the color pieces.

B/W updates are still in good shape.

I am also going to work on the store a bit. I want to change a few things to make it a little more user friendly. So if you have suggestions on things you would like to see, please let me know.

Usually about two or three weeks before cons, I take a moment to refine my craft. I also do this in-between books. It’s an opportunity to do some other pieces and play. Yet sometimes ideas creep into books that stem from sketches.

This is not one of them:) Yet since I sketch for FREE at each show we are at. I am also blessed to be given a ton of ideas to use in these simplistic inking projects. The mermaid has been a constant request and so I figured I would do a ink piece to her. I might even take it a step further and create a print for her.

Now I am going to take a moment and do some gaming tonight. I have been pushing myself really hard that I need to have a little break. So out comes the WII 🙂
